As men are born to succeed, not fail..

'People become really quite remarkable when they start thinking that they can do things. When they believe in themselves they have the first secret of success'

Busy weekdays, busy weekends!!

Pity to my blog, didn't really have much time to update it. I was busy with my studies, completing few assignments while I was loaded with work piles during daytime! Weekends seem no more a good blessing time for me to relax and enjoy the beautiful days. Anyway, the weather is pretty unfriendly at the moment. Everybody is complaining how hot it is nowadays..

This week is another busy weekend as my office moved to a new location. We received a short notice to vacate our previous office just three days from the exact moving out date, and of course everything was not in proper order in my view. ThankGod, managed to unpacked few boxes this afternoon in my new workplace and I just have another one more to go. Phewww!!

I got few engagement and wedding invitations for the past few weeks and only last Saturday, I managed to attend a friend's wedding ceremony. I love to attend engagement/wedding ceremonies as I got to meet my old friends and so the new ones. And as far as I could remember, I would attend to all invitations that I'd received. Unintentionally I missed an old friend's wedding ceremony this morning. Owh I feel bad about it when I saw an update on a friend's friend update on FB. I think I need to write him an apology note for not coming. Sorry dear friend..

Anyway, hope everyone is doing fine and will be catching up with all of the fantastic bloggers soon! Thank you for your companionship!!!

Mellow Yellow Monday #56

A row of 19th century Chinese shophouses, in the oldest street of Kuching, Sarawak.

It is still a holiday here in conjunction with the celebration of Lunar New Year. This year, it falls on February 14th, welcoming the vividly lucky, lively and engaging Golden Tiger Year. I would love to post something about the tiger, but it seems that I only have more red pictures in my picture galleries. Perhaps it will be perfect for Ruby Tuesday tomorrow. :)

I hope you'll have a wonderful Monday!!

Journey to a Life Prosperity

Prosperity is not an abundance of things, it is a state of mind. Mind is the actual instrument for poverty or prosperity, in which one regard the real meaning of 'abundance'. For many, the real abundance is in the hope of being rich or having a loaded bank account. And money is not the only kind of abundance! There is an abundance of opportunity, love, friendships, freedom, and the list goes on; but the most important thing is: You decide your journey to a life of prosperity.

'Wisdom is more important than money, jewels, and precious metals, because wisdom will get you all of those things' ~anonymous

Plant Good Thoughts

'Regard your thoughts as seeds, no different from the tiny seed of a carrot, or an acorn from an oak tree. When the gardener plants a seed, the first duty is accomplished. The second duty is to take care of the seed by watering it and ensuring that what needs to happen under the surface can happen. You don't dig up a seed on a daily basis to see if it's grown. You trust that it will. You know this because humans have been planting simple seeds for thousands of years, and most of them sprout under the right conditions.'

Personal Choice..

I feel so blessed today, having the courage of doing something that is beyond my expectactions. Feel great of choosing to be 'happy', over something that is not so good in the view of the normalities. Anyway, for something bad to be good is not impossible. It depends on one's belief and how he decides. My reading recently brought me to this rule: Happiness is a personal choice and not the product of anything external. Perhaps this rule can be a good vehicle to drive us to the ultimate happiness???

Manic Monday #199

What was your best day of the week last week and why?

Month end week is always frustrating. But last week, had a fantastic 'Monday', knowing that I'd overpaid of 2 thousand bucks for a telephone bill! The best part is knowing that I'll get the refund in few days time. Yayyy!!!!

What's the longest you've ever gone without sleep?

During my university year, the longest I'd ever gone was 2.5 days (approximately 60 hrs), without sleep. I wasn't alone completing group's technical drawing project. A friend and I took few cups of coffee to get awake and after submitting the project, we exhaustedly slept for one whole day.

Is how old you look and/or how old you feel right now different from your actual age?

Being a decision maker of the family, I feel older than my actual age. But I always come into people asking me, where do I study?? And that means, I 'look' younger than my age!!! ;)

Thank you to Fleur De Lisa for hosting this great meme.
Have a wonderful day everyone!!

Happy Sunday!!!

It's another bright Sunday and thankGod I feel blessed to have this 'extra free time' to blog, which I seldomly have the opportunity to do so. It's not that I totally have no time in the world, but it's about having so much of passion to fulfill in a very short time. I couldn't resist to follow my precious heart, since every single journey is a teacher for the best experiences.

As for this pleasant day, I have few things to be settled down and they include updating my blog, doing some research to upgrade my notebook (it's getting slower and that can cause a huge frustration, really..), and creating a new blog. Owh yes, I have few stuffs to be sold.. or maybe just to give them away for free (maybe one just need to pay for the postage fee.. need to think about that!), just to make space in my overloaded room. Huh.. Couldn't imagine what it's gonna be to let go some of my belongings!

Ana-kulli-hal (a just learned Arabic phrase for 'anyway'), hope to catch up with the wonderful bloggers out there and may you too have a blessed weekend..

Quiteness of the Waterfront, Kuching.

'Watery Wednesday', is just another meme that I like to participate, as the watery theme is so calming and refreshing. Posting something watery over the blog, makes one's blog looks amazingly interesting. Did you play?

2010..

As days passed by, without realizing how time flies very quickly, we are now in the new journal of life. I wonder how would this year's book begins and ends. For sure, creating happy moments throughout this coming journey will be the utmost aim! :) Since we are in the 17th day of the new year already, this is a short message wishing friends and visitors to my humble so-called journal, 'May you have a blessed year ahead'.

'Learn from Yesterday, Live for Today, Hope for Tomorrow!'
