Happy Sunday!!!

It's another bright Sunday and thankGod I feel blessed to have this 'extra free time' to blog, which I seldomly have the opportunity to do so. It's not that I totally have no time in the world, but it's about having so much of passion to fulfill in a very short time. I couldn't resist to follow my precious heart, since every single journey is a teacher for the best experiences.

As for this pleasant day, I have few things to be settled down and they include updating my blog, doing some research to upgrade my notebook (it's getting slower and that can cause a huge frustration, really..), and creating a new blog. Owh yes, I have few stuffs to be sold.. or maybe just to give them away for free (maybe one just need to pay for the postage fee.. need to think about that!), just to make space in my overloaded room. Huh.. Couldn't imagine what it's gonna be to let go some of my belongings!

Ana-kulli-hal (a just learned Arabic phrase for 'anyway'), hope to catch up with the wonderful bloggers out there and may you too have a blessed weekend..

2010..

As days passed by, without realizing how time flies very quickly, we are now in the new journal of life. I wonder how would this year's book begins and ends. For sure, creating happy moments throughout this coming journey will be the utmost aim! :) Since we are in the 17th day of the new year already, this is a short message wishing friends and visitors to my humble so-called journal, 'May you have a blessed year ahead'.

Watery Wednesday #54

My pick for this week is pictures taken by my nephew during his visit to the Orchid Garden in Kuala Lumpur, with his granny. Since I never shot splashy pictures like these, I thought they would look something different and refreshing...

From the point of view of a 15-yr-old teen..

Did you play too? Come, join the fun at Watery Wednesday.

Eid ul-Fitr Celebration on Mellow Yellow Monday #36 & Ruby Tuesday

It's the 3rd day of Eid ul-fitr and I've been putting some weights already! With varieties of the exotic Malaysian cuisine, how can I resist! We had few traditional signature dishes served to guests, but this year's celebration had been more special to our guest as we flied to the capital of Sarawak, Kuching to get the original traditional Sarawak Layer Cake also known as 'Kek Lapis Sarawak'. We enjoyed serving to our guests the colourful vibrant cakes on this Hari Raya.

Be my guest..

I'm also writing this post as my participations to Mellow Yellow Monday and Ruby Tuesday. Thanks to Drowsey Monkey and Maryt for hosting these cool memes. Please click on the link or the badge to visit other mellow yellows or ruby entries around the world.

Watery Wednesday #51

On the pond...
Calm swimmers...

Ruby Tuesday - Hanging Origami Mobile

It is astounding how relaxing these origami mobiles are. Incredibly, they can be thousands of them, glance gently in the breeze, even in the slightest motion of air.

It's my first time joining Ruby Tuesday. Bunch of thanks to Mary for hosting this great meme. To join, simply click on the logo below.

Cuppies!!!

Few months break, thought my cuppies here would serve the eyes of you, wonderful readers. Had been wanting to bake and blog all this while, but time just didn't persist. I'd to put aside all the kitchen chores and the smell of fresh home-baked cakes on Sunday evenings for few moments.

These cuppies were baked on request of my sister, who always crave for my so-called 'tempting' couldn't resist cuppies.. Mmm.. that's what she said. She loves the sense of vanilla and buttery smell upon opening the box.

Guess it's the perfect time to continue my baking journey. I might stop for a while, but it never ends. That's the passage of life.

Manic Monday #180

Are you usually late, early or right on time?

Depends on the situation. Usually, I'm early, and occassionally, i'm right on time... I hold to this quote, 'the early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese..'.

What would be harder for you, to tell someone you love them or to tell them that you do not love them back?

Once, I'd been loving someone for quite sometime. It was not that I had never tried to tell that somebody, but everytime when I wanted to tell him, there were butterflies in my stomach. Telling them the truth that I do not love them would be easier of course.
Which would you rather have: a high salary or job satisfaction?

If I were given options, I would rather have job satisfaction than a high salary. Job satisfaction is vital to fulfill everything. Be it in terms of monetary or other factors. A high salary would not guarantee one to get everything he dreams of. Today, he might be working real hard for that big pay, in future, he might need to work extra hard to accomplish his satisfaction.

Mellow Yellow Monday #33

After a long pause, I'm glad to share what my mom has grown in her beloved garden so far. As to match with my entry to the Yellow Mellow Monday, these pics were taken just a few weeks ago.

Happy Mellow Yellow Monday...

'BTT - Gluttony'

Mariel suggested this week’s question (thanks Mariel!):
Book Gluttony! Are your eyes bigger than your book belly? Do you have a habit of buying up books far quicker than you could possibly read them? Have you had to curb your book buying habits until you can catch up with yourself? Or are you a controlled buyer, only purchasing books when you have run out of things to read?

Wow! This week's question seems to be 'tempting' enough!!! Only this early morning, I sat on the family hall with my cuppa coffee, staring at my neatly arranged books on the table. One of them is still covered with a plastic cover, while I've read few pages on the other two.. plus my current reading on my hand (it's halfly read, though!). And more inside my room.. Thoughts passed my mind... am I gonna make it?? Could time tell???

I have used to ask myself that kind of questions everytime I bring home new books. I just couldn't resist my desire. I love them and I never wanted to curb this greediness (grin). Even though I know I have a so-called 'to-be-read' pile a mile high, but it's weird getting out of the bookstore without buying something.. and the whole day would be empty, like I've skipped one of my routine! My nephew suggests me this, 'Don't enter the bookstore!'. Ok, sometimes I would just go away but then in few minutes time I would be inside the bookstore and you will find me with at least two books in my shopping bag walking out later on. :)

I'm a book-glutton... and this is a confession of a bookaholic..

Have a wonderful day!
