Eid ul-Fitr Celebration on Mellow Yellow Monday #36 & Ruby Tuesday

It's the 3rd day of Eid ul-fitr and I've been putting some weights already! With varieties of the exotic Malaysian cuisine, how can I resist! We had few traditional signature dishes served to guests, but this year's celebration had been more special to our guest as we flied to the capital of Sarawak, Kuching to get the original traditional Sarawak Layer Cake also known as 'Kek Lapis Sarawak'. We enjoyed serving to our guests the colourful vibrant cakes on this Hari Raya.

'Getting started, again..'

Oh God! It's quite hard for me to find words to start this post. Month of April has proved rather busy for me. I was not able to make my usual posts so do memes, and most importantly was reading outstanding blogs that I've been following. To mention them, I'm sure it's gonna be a long list here. So maybe if you have the time to visit and say hello, I've listed them on the right side-bar of my page. Have a pleasant journey visiting those wonderful bloggers!

Another big celebration..

Chinese New Year of Ox, 2009 is just about to arrive. For the Chinese, get set to welcome the year and have a very prosperous New Year ahead!

New Year Cupcakes

Although we are in the 6th day of 2009, the celebration's not over yet. On new year's eve, I was too busy in the office for year-end closing, while others were enjoying their moments leaving 2008 memories behind. I remembered, at almost 11.00 post-meridiem I was still on the road trying to reach home by midnight.

Luckily, I managed to get home as I wished but I was too tired to welcome the new year. Fireworks lighting up the sky in the city can be seen from my home but again, I didn't feel the whole excitement. At that time, getting enough sleep was all I needed. Yeah... I didn't celebrate on the exact time, it was only since the past few days I started to send wishes to friends & relatives. Pathetic, wasn't it? :)

And only last Sunday I prepared few boxes of cupcakes with 'Happy 2009' wording and distributed them to few families of friends, relatives & neighbours. They were so happy & thanked me of being so thoughtful although I was quite late. Time doesn't matter, it's their happiness makes me feel so alive.

Birthday Cupcakes

Yay!!! It's public holiday over here and I was assigned to prepare cupcakes for my nephew's belated birthday. His younger sister is celebrating her birthday today, December 29th. I prepared those cupcakes earlier, though they were not as good as I expected they were supposed to be. I wanted them to be more alluring but as I was really tired and sleepy, I just managed to come out with these.

This one was rather very simple...

Anyway, a wish for my little nephew...
